NORNS Performance at UTOPIA

Abby Stewart and her band The Norns will be playing a one off gig THUR 12 MARCH at 8pm at UTOPIA Gallery. Norns are mythical women who make improvised ‘music’ out of instruments they don’t know how to play and don’t really want to learn. This makes for occasionally bleak sonic landscapes, and the odd never -to -be repeated glorious melody. The absolute honour of experiencing a Norns set is something that you’ll never see or hear again. members are Helen O'Rourke, Abby Stewart), Su Keates and Rani Stigsdottir.

DAVID LUPTON: ARTIST TALK & WORKSHOP SATURDAY 21 MARCH FROM 1pm

David Lupton will give a free artist talk on his current exhibition
GOLD IN A BLUE UNIVERSE on Saturday 21 March 1pm in the exhibition space. 

David is also hosting an Introduction to Colour Photography Workshop from 2pm - 5pm after the artist talk, bookings are essential and cost is $30/person. Please contact the gallery for more information.
